Costa Rica/Belize recommendations?

I am thinking of taking my two kids on an adventure-style vacation in Costa Rica, Belize, or somewhere similar this winter for my eldest’s 21st birthday (the other will be 17 and a hs senior). I’d like a preplanned package trip as I don’t have time to research and make the arrangements myself. Do any of you have experience of or recommendations for companies that do a particularly good (or bad) job of this? Any must-do’s or must-sees? Thanks!

My d spent last summer there as part of her schools study abroad program, but you might try REI.

I used this group in 2008. They were extremely professional and everything was as represented.
