Costas and Croakies

Thoughts? Do you have them?

I’ve never seen anyone wear croakies in the northeast or anywhere before I went to Clemson. Now I think they’re normal. I don’t care as people have different fashion senses but I will never wear them haha

It is a souther thing, but i wear to protect my glasses. What do you think of the fishing lure croakies?

Any time I have heard someone mention croakies, I have googled them and stared in disbelief that it could actually be what you’re talking about. People actually wear those things that hold your glasses? Really? And they even have a name? I would never have known.

Google couldn’t tell me what a costa is, though. Enlighten me, please?

I’ve never heard of either.
I live in California, so yeah, maybe it is a southern thing?

They’re so nerdy. I suppose if one is an 80 year old who misplaces his/her reading glasses often they would have a purpose. Again, they are so nerdy.

I live in the south and I’ve never seen anyone wear them.

Aren’t those for tourists?

^Even the tourists around here don’t wear them. :)

Everyone wears them down here. They are most prevalent in the Greek (ie fraternity) community though. They’re very useful.

Costa del mars, a brand of sunglasses.

Yeah, I live in NY and never heard of them.

I googled the sunglasses. They are cool but I don’t think I’d ever be able to differentiate between them and something from rite aid. I must be uncultured.
