Costume idea??

I know you can buy PJs that are superman, batman, etc. at places like Kohls. I’m guessing they have them for women also. I know it’s not in your closet, but may be a simple trip to the store.

With the graduation gown, you could be a Harry Potter character–Hermonie or Ginny Weasley. With the red raincoat, you could be little red riding hood and put goodies for the kids in your basket.

How about pajamas and pig tails for Cindy Lou Who.

I’m thinking little red riding hood might be a good choice. No candy allowed…so no basket of candy!

You could do a basket of treats you ARE allowed to give out–cool erasers, stickers, pencils, bubbles, whatever.

I have a prize box. I suppose I could dump the prizes into a basket! I need a little dress to wear…going to check around for that!

Pippi Longstockings is always a cute one. We had one Mom when my kids were in elementary school who did that every year. I don’t know if she made or bought the red yarn wig.

If you have a black, white or flesh colored spandex top & bottom, a pair of whitey tighties, a red cape and a plunger, you could be Captain Underpants. lol

If you are going for easy, the cards in Alice in Wonderland are very simple. Couple of pieces of poster board and a Sharpie and you are good to go. Or the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz.

Be a dalmation from 1001 Dalmations! White t-shirt, white jeans…black dots from construction paper…floppy ears, black nose: optional!

Oops! Thats 101 Dalmations, isn’t it?!

Since o also have to being my book that goes with my costume…I think I’m going with Little Red Riding Hood. I will fill my goodie basket with all,of my Halloween prizes, and give them away throughout the day.

And I have several versions of the book…should be good!

Is it too late to suggest Tom Sawyer? Any costume that allows for being barefoot and swinging a cat (stuffed) works for me.

Um…barefoot when the high temp is going to be 50? Sorry…not my thing!

Eloise is an easy costume.

@happymomof1 my H and I just returned from an adult costume party tonight. Wore our bathrobes and had small clocks hanging around our necks. We went as “daylight savings time”. (We had our clocks set at 2:00)

@powercropper - Oh I love that! I have a cute little travel alarm that I could tie a string to.

Our school dress up was yesterday…and I loved the creative costumes I saw. The easiest and best…Charlie Brown…a yellow tee shirt…then black duct tape put on it to make the zig zag on the shirt. Black shirts. Tada!

I wore my Eyeore costume…just couldn’t pull together anything fancier. I was going to go as Fancy Nancy the bride, but she wore pink high heel shoes…I have those, but knew I wouldn’t be able to walk in them all day!!
