I wonder if I could get into MIT…could you guys help me?

*Im from Panama City, Panama.
*Have lived in Puerto Rico, Brazil and Venezuela
*I speak portuguese, english, spanish

-Grades:Im a junior at the most competitive school in Panama
*Fr: 4.2
*So:4.3
*Jr:4.4 so far
(out of 5(max))

-EC’s:
*President of Promuseum which is a group that helps rebuild museums in Panama.
*Vicepresident of Operation Smile which is a group that helps poor children have surgery.
*member of Junior Achievement which is a group that educate students to succeed in the global economy by making them creat ‘‘corporation’’ that will sell a product made by the students.
*volunteered in bay cleanup
*Social service: we traveled 3 weeks to the most rural area in Panama, Ca

** Your ECs are great, but they do not offer a consistent picture of YOU. Try to focus on three to four instead of a hodgepodge of activities. **

I disagree Appler, I think he has a great mix of ECs that shows passion as well as diversity. And he’s from Panama! (I sometimes pretend to be from Panama)

As for if you can get in… who knows? Any major academic awards or reason to believe that you are extremely competent at math? International admissions are far more competitive than domestic, Pennfan.

No math and science activities. SAT scores? Rank? Classes taken?
