Could a teacher's comment kill my chances?

i sent in my first quarter grades with my apps. I had straight a’s but a b in ap literature and undeneath the grade it said something like “you could be an “a” student if you cut the side chatter” -lol (i didnt realise this was on there till i sent it)
Does this hurt my chances?
I got into two schools already that i sent that too, but the other three i applied to are much harder schools…

it probably will but im no expert at all so idk

Well, the teacher has hardly called you a pedophile or a raging alcoholic, so I’ll think you will be fine ;)

haha very true qwilde, i think that might look a smidge bit bad… but for real, how bad would this look to an admissions commitee?

im not sure how much it will hurt you. im positive something like that wont kill your chances, but the adcoms will definitely notice that and take it into consideration. i wouldnt stress too much about it - theres nothing u can do now

show me a student that doesnt do side chatter…

Je vais bien ne t’en fais pas. If anything it demonstrates that you can “side chatter” and still receive an A.

^ but he got a “B”

lol, that is like nothing!! :D

wait, teacher’s comments are on transcripts?

Apparently they do at my school…I was surprised too…
