Could getting a sql server certification help with mph epidemiology admissions?

I am a neuroscience major, I dont have a great gpa (under or at 3.0), I suffered from depression and a low self esteem, but I did get help and I’m doing fairly well in my last semester. I also added a public health minor.

I have decent GRE scores, some leadership experience as the vice president of a student organization.

I dont have a lot going for me I feel like my GPA ruined my chances at graduate school.

I have considered obtaining a certification in sql server, or database analysis. I could possibly even get a job in database analysis.

would having sql server/database experience help me in terms of admission?

It’s unlikely to help with admission, but could help you find a job later.

The best thing you can do to raise your chances of MPH admission is to work in the field for about 2-3 years.
