Please let me know my chances, I’m really worried. I won’t be able to get my GPA up anymore and I probably can’t raise my ACT score much if not any. maybe 27 or 28 at the most

Other Choices:
Syracuse University
Michigan State University
Northeastern University

Money is not a problem either, I am of Indian ethnicity (M).
Top 35% of Class

I also attended Boston University summer challenge program so two of the teachers there wrote good letters about me.

I know my GPA sucks but if it was my the normal weight scale it would be a 3.4 or 3.5ish?
I have also taken mostly hard classes which I heard they like a lot.
Money is not a problem either.

I don’t think I will be able to get a 30 or higher on my ACT or over a 1800 on my SAT what should I do to give myself a “decent chance” at getting in? Take easier senior classes and get a 4.0? or take a lot of hard classes and do decent?

Just out of curiosity, why did you repeatedly take such hard classes (like honors algebra II), when you were making C’s in them? Of course, your coursework has proven to be very rigorous and I’m sure they will see that as a positive thing on your application, but one must wonder if the situation would be different if you had just taken normal college prep classes and gotten A’s.

Because I don’t think I would have been ready for college. AP classes feel normal to me now, while regular classes are beyond easy.

Please someone, this is my dream college.

it seems a bit of a reach because your ACT score is in the bottom 25% and your gpa is very low. yes you’ve taken hard classes, but you’ve done just alright in them.

I could make you feel better and say of course you will get in - but what do I know?

What we say here doesn’t really matter. Why not talk to an admissions rep at BU and ask them? Maybe visit the school or talk to them if they come to a college fair near you?

Alright if I get my ACT score up to about a 28 will I have a good shot? or a 1800 or higher on my SAT?
