<p>I am going to have a 3.28 when i graduate from my community college. I am involved in national honor society, kappa sigma alpha, editor of the yearbook. I volunteer at the local animal shelter, halter and soup kitchen. I also run my own little business on ebay selling purses. My sats are pretty good and I was just wondering what everyone thinks honesty is always the best policy thanks</p>
<p>I think you should read posts on the transfer forum, but I think it would be very unlikely for you to be able to get into Cornell, or Brown. In general, it is very difficult to transfer into top private colleges, even harder than it is to get accepted out of HS. Your stats need to be top notch. Most top private colleges don’t create spots for transfers, so the number of openings is a function of how many current students leave, and how large the yield is in the incoming freahman class. For instance, this year, Stanford accepted only 20/1400 transfer applicants, because in large part there were more accepted freshman who decided to matriculate at Stanford than the admissions office had anticipated. So there were fewer openings for transfer applicants.</p>
