could i get into duke?

<p>i know someone already posted this same question-</p>

<p>but just a general overview</p>

<p>white, male, very competitive high school in CT
almost finished with sophmore year</p>

<p>with a 3.7 UW gpa- about 3.85 W
i hate when people project test scores
but lets say i had a 2150 SAT </p>

<p>SAT 2’s in a few subjects with decent scores</p>

<p>EC’s including varsity baseball, soccer–
doing research next summer at yale
more…</p>

<p>i know its hard to predict but do i have a shot at duke- greater than say 20% chance</p>

<p>If that 3.7 UW GPA is backed up with an extremely rigorous courseload… then you may stand a chance just based on your GPA… but a lot of things can happen over two years… so I don’t know what to say just yet.</p>

<p>thanks coot-- and yes i do have a rigoruous courseload at a very hard highscool- plus im a legacy</p>
