Stanford University of Medicine is my dream med school. I was wondering if a 4.0 bachelors degree from Arizona State University would get me in. I think the acception rate is 2.3%.
Students who make it through the premed gauntlet have one chance out of two to get into ONE med school. All US med schools are good. What will matter is how well you do at your medical school so that you can choose the residency - that’s when things matter.
What’s your situation? Did you get into ASU Barrett?
I’m still in high school, I’m just seeing if anyone has been through it.
Sure, you can certainly find someone who made a 4.0 at Barrett, and was premed, and applied to Stanford med, and gt in. You can also find someone who was a star player in high school and made it to the pros. What does it tell you about whether you will make it as a premed, or will get into Barrett, or will be one of the 50% of unsuccessful premeds…
