I am going to have a 3.7 at RPI, will become a sophomore next year. Have great ec such as being in the student government and honor society. Have ton of service hours. I am going to be changing from bioengineering to bio chem on pre med track. HS GPA 3.89/4.00 (Unweighted) Sat-1290(Old)Act-29 Could I get into schools like BU, UNCCH, UVA, Vandy, UW, Colgate, Wesleyan? No financial constraints.
Your GPA is solid but your test scores might be more of a burden on your overall application. Being full-pay will be somewhat beneficial at BU, Colgate and Wesleyan(the rest are need blind). If you can bring your ACT to a 32 or an SAT of 1400+, you’ll have a much better chance.
Keep up the good work with the grades, and kick butt with the essays!
