I am a junior at a public early college high school in a small city in New Mexico. I am a white 15 year old female. I took the SAT last year with a score of 1450 (with no tutor). I am gonna retake it this year and take the ACT for the first time. I want to major in chemical engineering and eventually become a doctor (but I am open to other STEM-oriented majors). Right now, I am first in my class out of 55 with a GPA of 4.0. I have taken only 1 AP class (AP Lit) and am currently taking Calculus AB and BC. No other AP classes are offered at my school. However, I have taken several college classes and will graduate with an Associates of Science and about 70 college credits. My family’s income is under $100,000.

Captain of my school’s chess team from 2017 to now. I organized the club and team by myself.
My team has gotten 3rd and 2nd in state in 2018 and 2019.
Won the New Mexico Girl’s Chess Championship 3 times and 1 time the Women’s State
Championship.
Conducted various chess exhibitions in elementary schools in the local area.
I am both American Sailing Association certified and a certified small boat handler (my dad doesn’t have a boat. The people at the lake just let us borrow their J-24 and Sunfish)
I am a Sea Scout.
I have participated in Mock Trial 2017 to now and was the lead attorney on my team last year.
I play tennis and volleyball for fun.
