Could someone share with me Lawrenceville’s class of 2024 GPA distribution? Thanks

Assuming this is a college admissions question, 3rd or 4th decile works for any school. Don’t overwork yourself.
I go to Hightstown High School lol. I was just curious for no reason. Thank you so much
be careful how you compare GPA’s across schools. Some schools e.g., Lville do not weight classes while others do. At some schools top students can have a 5.15 gpa which is not possible at others. College admissions officers understand and or are provided with information to evaluate the students and their rankings. A high GPA could be in all easy classes while a lower GPA was in honors - an important nuance to consider.
How are the GPAs in the examples pictured above over 4.0 if Lawrenceville doesn’t weight? Honest question - just trying to understand.
An A+ is 4.3
Interesting. I’ve only ever seen an unweighted GPA stop at 4.0 (not including schools that have a 7-point or 10-point scale, etc).
The public school I attend and the private school I am going to both use the 4.33 scale
Agreed. A+ is just another form of weighting. A true unweighted should top out at 4.0 for perfect scores. But this just reinforces why no GPA can effectively be compared across schools since even the UW versions aren’t on a level playing field (as many, probably most HS’s don’t offer A+).
So as I understand it - it is for the very rare A+. AP/Honors are not weighed.
I wouldn’t call A+s “very rare”; it’s just that a very small proportion of students receive most of them. There are usually 10 or so students each year who graduate with GPAs of 4.10 or above, which means about 1/3 of their term grades are A+s, assuming no A-s. Some even get to 4.15 or above, i.e. the majority of their grades are A+s. Most of the rest of the class gets less than five—if any—during their time there.
