<p>So over the last few months my custodial arrangement has kept changing. I’ve been under my mom partial, dad full, and as of now I think the state is considering me an emancipated minor. I have a fantastic g.c. Who has been able to help me with what I need. </p>

<p>Will this odd situation affect my admissions as I am a current h.s. senior? My common app essay is roughly about this. If it helps I’m applying to Georgetown, penn, Columbia, Cornell, NYU, Villanova, Johns Hopkins, and a few others if it means anything.</p>

<p>It shouldnt affect your application. You could use the additional details provision in the commonapp writing section, or have your GC explain your situation in his/her LOR.</p>
