I have one more semester at community college left. I have a G.P.A Of 3.66 and with the tag program I could probably get into a UC. However, that will be until next fall. I was hoping to start uni immediately in the spring. Should I just settle and go to a Cal state in the spring or should I wait until the fall and go to a UC? Is it worth the wait? I don’t want to waste an entire semester. Also, which Cal states should I be considering if any. Any help or information on this topic would be useful.
Intended major? Do you have all major and GE requirements completed for both UC and CSU schools? Which CSU’s are you targeting for Spring?
In my opinion, I would wait until the fall for one of the UC’s, like Davis, since you are in the TAG program. Cal State would be my second choice. I am assuming both the UC you are targeting and the CSU have your intended major and you are admitted to your major. In the meantime, you might want to work full time in the spring or take more classes.
What’s your major? Which schools are you looking at, both UC & Cal State?
i’d pursue both paths and decide only after hearing back from the CSU.
