<p>Hi, If anybody here is on the West Coast, I was wondering if you could chance me for Polytechnic School in Pasadena. My ISEE’s were:
Verbal- 96, Stanine 9
Quantitative Reasoning- 99, Stanine 9
Reading Comprehension- 99, Stanine 9
Mathematics Achievement- 99, Stanine 9</p>
<p>Currently, I’m at public school (Sierra Madre), I’ve been on Math Field Day (Math Competition for the PUSD and LA county. I’ve placed 2nd overall, and 1st overall twice) , I’ve been in Girl Scouts since 2nd Grade, I have straight A’s in honors classes (Geometry in 8th Grade) and have never had a B.</p>
<p>Your ISEE scores are very impressive! I have heard that Poly generally takes kids with all four scores in the upper ninety percentiles, so your scores are really good. </p>
<p>Did you go on the tour and do a shadow day? Poly really wants kids who they know will attend Poly if accepted, so make sure to let them know that you really want to go. My friend’s kid was wait listed at Poly, but let them know that he was very interested in attending (even willing to give up the deposit at Campbell Hall) and he is now a Senior and has had a good experience.</p>
