could you love someone not knowing what they looked like?

I saw one time on TV about this radio station that had a man and woman date (they were separated by a screen) and talk on the phone without seeing eachother and they were supposed to get married but they ended up not doing it.

Do you think its possible to truly love someone without knowing what they looked like? I mean like them completely for their personality. Or are women more capable of doing that then men?

Sometimes I think it’d be nice to know that even if you weren’t pretty the person would still feel the same about you.

And, is it wrong to like a person only for their looks?
People admire you if you like someone for their personality, but that is something you are pretty much born with. Or if you think its a result of the environment you were raised on, you couldn’t choose that either, you were born in that situation and with those parents.
Then why is it bad to like someone for their outside appearance, if that is also something that you can’t help whether you are born with good looks or not?
To me it’s the same thing but for some reason its nicer to know that someone likes you for what you’re like inside.

to your original question, no. physical attraction, albeit not 100% of a love connection, is a big part.

Do old people think other old people are attractive?

its not possible. Physical attraction is part of “natures game”.

I guess old blind people have it rough. ~_~

ad.bc, which show was this? are you lying to us because you’re in love with someone on these forums? :o

i saw it on 20/20
no im not in love with anyone here
unless you want me to be lol
jk

the saddest story i heard was the elephant man wanted to visit a blind girls school so that someone there could love him because he was too repulsive on the outside
and he had to wear a bag over his head when he went on the train and stuff
when he died it was because he tried to sleep laying down so he could be like a normal person

Aww, sad.

To your original question, no. Talking over the internet and phone isn’t the same as having a real conversation. But I wouldn’t bother falling in love. Boys suck. Majorly.

Sad about the elephant man.

^ No, actually, girls suck. Majorly.

I think that we all suck, basically.

Except for me.
