Saer I am so insanely jealous of you right now and I haven’t ever met you laughs :)

Ahaha well I am just glad I’ve made friends from CC, at Choate, and on Facebook, because it means I will NOT be the outcast ever again.
My school now has people I’ve known since preschool, and they pretty much hate me/stereotype me/etc. And from 2nd-5th grades, I was the outcast with no friends. AND THINGS HAVE CHANGED!

And this opportunity is INSANE.

I’m really glad for you, since I can totally relate :)

I’ve known my school since kindergarten, and hate/sterotype me as well, especially since I’m Indian and all! I hate it so much! I was the outcast too from like 5th to 7th grade too, and people were just friends with me to gain advantage on me and stuff. Which really stinks, but this year is slightly better.

That opportunity sounds INSANE, too. I would never pass it up for literally, ANYTHING.

And ps, when you become famous and all, don’t forget us CCers ;)

Ahaha I wanna be famous! And isn’t it terrible how one small thing that happened probably years ago can make people dislike you forever? Urgh.

But we all move on!

Aaaahhhh you have no ideaaaa. It sucks so baaaddddddddddddddd. Ugh.

Yes, we do laughs

saer: i glad you’re so happy. i’ve read your posts this winter and i’d like you to promise to post when you’re at choate. i’m applying next year and i’d like to read your first hand experience of choate, the real honest stuff. it’s going to be sooo nice to be around students and friends that have more things in common with you, i think that’s everybody’s dream! good luck.
were you chosen as a choate scholar btw?

Yes, she was chosen as a Choate Scholar :)

I’m so glad Saer’s happy, too :)

nice, good for her :>)

Haha, yep, I’m a Choate scholar! And I am SO happy. The next 5 months aren’t going to be “Chaoet Choate Choate” though. I’m definitely trying to appreciate my last few months at home.

Yeah, definitely. Enjoy your last few free months at home, especially then it’s all going to be about COLLEGE COLLEGE COLLEGE ;)

yeck. I am so excited! My friends are amazing, my boyfriend is great, and everyone’s been awesome.

OMGOMGOMG I am so jealous and happy for you
I really hope I get off the ‘waitlisted’ pile and into the ‘accepted’ pile!

And ps, all of us have to keep in touch when we go off to BS and stuff.

WE WILL KEEP IN TOUCH. Or I will hurt you!

And I hope you do too!!

WE HAVE TO. OR ELSE! Haha, do you have an aim/gmail or something like that?

Thanks! I hope you have tons of fun at Choate (though I know you will :])

…why do I feel all sentimental all of a sudden? We’re not saying goodbye or anything!!

When do waitlist results come out??

good luck!

Haha, thank you :)

Waitlists can either come right after April 10th (when most students will have sent in their contracts) or right up until August.

is nervous I haven’t sent any updates on recent achievements OR subsequent grade reports!

Then you still can, right?

Still do it? I hope so!

Aaahhh do you think I should send an email to my guidance counselor to send grade reports? And can I just send my admissions officer an email of recent achievements without telling them?!
