<p>I heard you need to miss about 15 on math, 12 on reading, and 8-9 on writing with a good essay to get a 600 on each section. Does that sound right?</p>

according to the Princeton review, I think you can miss around there or maybe a few more if you’re aiming for 600 on each. I don’t know how true that is, but they say they actually grade harder than college board does. A perfect score of 800 isn’t just getting 100%, you can miss 5 or 6 and still get an 800 </p>
<p>that’s not according to me, though, so don’t take my word for it completely.</p>

<p>I’m thinking about applying to UCLA. Might head up to CA in a few weeks to tour the campus, that and USC.</p>

<p>@unicornsarereal- I’ll probably apply to LA, Berkeley, and SD (which I live about 30 min away from), but they’re kind of my backups. I’d rather go to a smaller college, but that’s just personal preference.</p>
