***Countdown to June SAT 2011 Results***

This was my first time taking the SAT

CR: 690
Math: 700
Writing: 730 (70 mc, 10 essay)

2120 overall

I think I can do much better in fall. I’m not terribly mad since this was my first time, but I realllly want a 2250+. And I know I can blame some of this score to nerves only because CR is normally my highest scoring section, and all of a sudden its my lowest. O.o

2020

I got a 700 on CR and im so happy! I got a 550 on cr on PSAT and cr is my worst section. I am really happy with my score, probably wont take it again. Unlike the majority of you guys on CC…

WOW, my goal was get 2000+, and I got just that.

Composite 2000 (umm, wow?)
CR 600 (met that goal no more, no less! geez…)
WR 690 (63 MC, 11 essay - WOOT for essay! :DD)
M 710 (:DDDDD this made me incredibly happy!)

Now my dilemma is whether I retake or not… I met all of my initial goals, but I kind of wanted to break 700 on writing and maybe get more toward mid-600s with CR haha. Hmmmmm. Do I take subject tests, or do I retake SAT? A hard choice…

Same exact hard choice…^^ I got the same CR as you… Idk it just looks bad compared to the others. I feel like I should. The question is… should you take the SAT IN October and the SAT 2 in november… or switch around?

2380
800 CR
800 W
780 M

Obviously I’m happy, but I can’t stop thinking about the one math question I missed…

Congrats, AlaskanDebater44! : ) That’s insanely awesome.

CR: 800
M: 780
W: 800 (80/10)

SO CLOSE and yet so far! I knew this was going to happen. The grid-in with the numbers 1-100 and the multiples of 3 did me in; I swear my brain took a temporary leave of absence. If we were allowed to superscore SATs with ACTs, I would be set, though! XD

Haha since my goals don’t involve the Ivies, I’ll report my scores(even though they’re pitiful for most CCers, I’m very happy with them)

670 writing
630 reading
540 math

:)

Just checked this morning :))
Reading 800
Math 800
Writing 780
At least most schools care more about reading/math anyways

740 reading
780 math
780 writing (77mc/10 essay)
1520 M+CR, 2300/2400.

I’m still annoyed that I missed that one math question with the cumulative graph, but overall I’m very happy with my score. I did better in every section. The -1 = 780 is surprising; I was expecting 770.

Complete surprise… thought I rocked the CR and bombed the W.

780 Math
750 CR
800 W (11 E)

2330 or 1530. Annoyed that all my points were off on the 1600 scale. Writing…really?

What would be a good score if you want to go to a public state college?

@ collegecrazey: Woah! A fellow 2000-er!
And that’s it exactly. It looks bad compared to others on here… especially the “retake-at-2390” people haha.
I’m actually debating which one to take in October, because I’m applying EA to Michigan, and therefore I want to take everything before Nov 1st, but I don’t know what! I feel like I’d do very badly on the subject tests, to be honest, haha. But luckily there’s plenty of prep time! :)

@Bornforthestage, I applaud your attitude! I wish I could forget everyone on here and just be happy with my scores. X)

770 CR
780 M
800 W (77 MC, 11 essay)

2350 overall! This was my second time taking, so I’m so glad I’m done with it. For any future SAT retakers looking to improve math, go buy yourself a copy of dr.John Chung’s 50 perfect tips to an 800. It helped me improve so much, seriously.

710 (CR) :frowning: 780 (M) 770 (W w/ 10 essay). Right about where I expected.

niceeeeeeeee. i got a 2140 and was just expecting a 2200 flat, but i was definitely pleasantly surprised to get:
740 CR
800 MATH
780 W (77 MC/10 Essay)
2320!

Expected: 2200
Real: 2210 (800M, 700R, 710W)
Superscore: 2230 (730W)

Well, I’m pleased! Exactly 300 points higher than my March!

CR 770
M 680
W 730

And that adds up to a 2180, 20 point from that golden 2200. A little bit disappointed in my math, but otherwise happy!

YES YES YES MY HIGHEST SCORE EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

660 CR
780 Math
740 W (74 MC/9 Essay (again??? just give me a stupid 10…))
