Critical Reading-> 740
Writing-> 730

Math-> 700

2170

Made some stupid mistakes in math but I’m pretty pleased overall.

Confettiflags, what made Chungs book stand out to you such that you recommend it? I’ve never heard of it.

Sigh-son slept over friends last night and so we won’t know until much later.

Nice scores here, and a summer on which to work in preparation if you choose.

XD

went from 1560 to 1960 yess

cr: 630
math: 670
writing: 660
essay: 11

I am in 8th grade:

Critical Reading 500
Math 550
Writing 500
Essay 8

At which grade did you do your first SAT? What’s the best I can expect between now and next year?

My daughter got a 2090 in March (cr-620,m-740, w-730 ) took the exam in June and went up 100 points (cr-690,m-760,w-740). We are done!!! She is so happy with a 2190. Happy summer!

I hate the essay )=

740
760
690 (77/5?!)

At least it’s a 250 point improvement, but I would have made my goal if my essay was better… I was only hoping for at least an 8 on it!

LOL @ people witha score of 2300+ who think they did “quite well”. Thats frickin amazing.

I did much better in writing than I expected  Though I’m not quite sure if I should retake SAT/take ACT  But I’m pretty pleased with my score this time around

CR: 720
M: 800
W: 800 (80 MC 10 essay)

2270

690 reading
780 math
800 writing 10 essay

FUUUUUUUUU
vocab is not a joke
I got a 36 reading on my act

For some reason, I totally botched up the essay (8/12?! WHAT.) I usually get 10s on the essay so I don’t even know what was up with my brain that day.

Still managed to get:
Math- 760
Writing- 770
Critical Reading 770

What’s really funny is that the score I got (2300) was exactly the score I was aiming for. Maybe I should have aimed a little bit higher…ah well. This is my third and last time taking this test so I’m really glad with my results.

CR: 800
M: 660
W: 800 (essay 10)
Total 2260

Math was blegh but overall I’m pretty happy with this! I’ll be a junior next year so I have plenty of time to prepare for a retake if I decide to.

I’m posting at the risk of getting made fun of, oh well.

CR 640 88% (Meh, vocab on SC’s messed me up)

Math 700 93% (Stupid mistakes killed me)

Writing 710 96% (not too bad i guess)

Total 2050

At least my score was in my predicted range

Cr 95%
m 99%
w 96%

CR - 800 (struggled soo much with this)
M - 700
W - 690 (A surprise, but I’m still happy over my CR)

Cr - 800
m - 780
w - 800

!!!

CR 770 =/ went down from 800 last time, but Iwas expecting it. This test’s CR was daaamn hard
M 760!! up from 670 last time so I’m SUPER happy
WR 800  up from 790 last time (mc composite 77, essay 11)
So composite is 2330, and my superscore is 2360. I am DONE, and quite pleased.

My May subject test scores finally arrived lol.

740 Biology M
760 U.S. History

800 cr
740 math
780 writing

2320 overall, 2330 composite (i got a 790 in writing before). i brought math up almost 100 points from last time, so i’m quite happy :)

740 math
740 writing
620 reading…

is this reading seriously going to hurt me… cuz idk why i can’t seem to get any higher ■■■ and i can’t take it anymore

So I actually have a question, and I’d really appreciate it if someone could answer it.

I am really happy with my score:
CR – 700
Writing – 780
Math – 760
2240

But in my opinion, CR is completely luck. Sometimes in practice, I know all the vocab-- sometimes, I don’t. I know that in this sitting at least 5 of my missed questions were vocabulary. So I was wondering:

1) If it looks bad that I only take the SAT once. I know most people take it twice or even three times, so will it look like I am not dedicated enough to take it again, or will it look good because I scored fairly high my first time taking it?

2) The only time I can retake the SAT is also the day for SAT Subject Tests, and I have to retake Math II (650). I also took two other subject tests, so would it look better for me to submit those two and retake the SAT-- maybe with a superscore gaining 50 points-- or would it be better I retake the subject tests, and have three in the 700s?
