Counting down the days until December 11th

Everyone who applies has one.

Where is the ID number on the email located?

never mind/found it

I got a different email. Dont know if its a good or bad thing. Dear NAME,

Where is this ID number? I can’t find it…

EDIT:

Wait, in the reply to box it says: "Cody M " <■■■■■■.com>, “Illinois {‘IllinoisID#111991238346’}” admissions@illinois.edu

^ Is that what you’re talking about?

I think the email that Cubs77 received sounds like one that is targeted to an accepted applicant…

^ Not really. Why would they be encouraging accepted kids to be learning about the admissions process? Plus, the email that most of us got wasn’t signifying a denial at all… I personally think it’d be mean to send a rejected student the email that most of us got the DAY BEFORE admissions come out.

I don’t think there’s any significance of the emails.

I agree with you Cody…there is no rhyme or reason to this. What is strange is that I don’t think my son has received any emails whatsoever from UofI since the day he applied in September until today. So it just seems like a strange time to be sending superfluous emails.

Probably system error. Emails dont make any sense.

You guys! You guys! Look what I got!!!

…whoa!!!

whatever the emails are does not really matter. Everyone has waited this long already, and these emails shouldn’t change our hopes of being admitted. Countdown: only 18 hours 44mins left.

when did you get that??

…I got it at 10:03 CST.

No decisions are sent out until December 11th @ 5 pm CST… Thanks for trying though…misses “5/6s of my AP scores were 1s”…lol.

I got the same email as most of you; I’m not sure why though. And my friend says he got an acceptance email.

yeah it doesnt make any sense why Illinois would send emails any early…

I’m supposed to be writing this paper right now, but I’m way too distracted by this whole deal…

I can’t even imagine how off task I’m going to be tomorrow…

yea why would illinois send out emails any earlier…

^ I don’t think they do.

Also, I texted around to a few people who I know applied (I’m a dork, I admit) and one of my friends who applied Regular decision got the Education email. So I’m pretty sure it’s completely irrelevant to our decision.

However this IllinoisID thing has got me curious. There HAS to be a way to find out before tomorrow night, and I’m not giving up…

omgee
i can;t wait any longer… i need to find outt
