i say russia. it is so moving and passionate and stirs the soviet within me. (i have no russian in my blood what so ever actually)

Soviet/Russian is the best, I get goosebumps from it and I am not Russian.

I have no idea. I’m not some loser who sits around listening to random national anthems.

i love how people give answers that are so relevant to my question.

Germany’s would have the best if they used the second verse of Deutschlandlied instead of the third. The second verse is all about German wine and German women. =[

La Marseillaise is still amazing for when you need to feel ultra-patriotic. It’s impossible not to get caught up in that song.

Kenya’s is pretty rousing.

I like the Russian one but it’s a bit bombastic. The French one is fine too but a bit too familiar.

I like the Portuguese one the best.

I love “O Canada”

Whichever one they are playing at the Olympics when the winner receives his/her medal. It’s very moving to see the athletes wipe away a tear.

I agree that the Soviet/Russian anthem is pretty sweet, especially sung by the Red Army Choir all dressed up in uniform

Russian Anthem, by leaps and bounds.
