Couples Housing

My girlfriend and I are moving into couples housing at 414 West 120th Street (efficiency apartment). We’re coming from MN and are trying to figure out what is necessary to bring/expect as far as layout and size. Any information or tips would be much appreciated. Thanks.

They should have given you square footage, and whether it was furnished or not. If they haven’t given you that info, you can definitely call and ask.

In general expect it to be much smaller than a MN apartment. If you can afford to, I would start small and rebuild the secondary furniture once you’ve moved.

Yes, they gave us square footage - I think right around 500. Our problem is that we can’t get a handle on a layout so we’re not sure what is worth driving all the way to New York and what isn’t. Do you know if there is a place to store a bike in the winter time (i.e. basement) or are we pretty much restricted to the apartment? Thanks for the response!

I don’t know when you’re moving, but next week I might be able to stop by and take a look/send you some photos.

Oh wow, that would be so so helpful - shoot me an email kevin.clevette@********** and we can work out the details. I’ll owe you a few beers when I get into town for the help!

Thanks,
