Just wondering if there was a paper version of McGill’s course catalog or whether it’s all online.

Also, any recommendations or warnings about certain courses, current McGill students?

The course catalog is only online. They discontinued the paper edition a few years ago.
If you’re looking for a fun elective, take Art of Listening (MUAR211). It’s pretty easy to get an A, but it’s also quite fun - you listen to and study various musical pieces from way back to modern day. It’s been by far my favorite course I’ve taken at McGill.

Some other popular classes known being on the easy side are the World of Chem classes - there’s four different ones, each with a different topic (CHEM160,170,180,190), Natural Disasters, the Science of Storms (both within ATOC) and Terrestrial Planets (within EPSC). I haven’t taken any of these, except for one World of Chem, but I’ve heard from quite a few people that they liked them.

^Awesome, thanks!

Anyone else?
