Course Choices?

I’m preparing to transfer and I’m choosing courses accordingly. I’ve one slot left in my schedule and I’d really like to fill it with an honors class since I don’t currently have any other honors classes in my schedule. Now I’ve done some research and only a few honors classes can fit.

Here’s my question: Would a potentially lame honors class have more merit to a transfer university than an interesting non-honors class?

The “potentially lame honors class” is a gen-ed: GWS 3500 - Psy Perspectives on Gender. Here’s the course description,

I mean, it sounds interesting, but it isn’t something I’m invested in and I’m not sure how a transfer university would interpret it. Would I be better off with regular gen-ed? This would mean transferring with three semesters under my belt with no honors courses.

Thanks!

any ideas?
