course descriptions?

hey, so i’ve been wondering if there’s a site where we can read course descriptions? i’ve searched [USC Catalogue: Undergraduate Education: The USC Core/General Education](http://www.usc.edu/dept/publications/cat2009/undergraduate/usc_core.html) for a bit, but they only list classes. i know it’s for last year, but the classes are probably similar.

also, is there a site besides ratemyprofessor that reviews classes? berkeley has courserank, but i don’t think usc has one.

thanks.

[USC Schedule of Classes: Select a Term](USC Schedule of Classes)

USC has it’s own professor rating thing called the USG Senate Course Guide. I haven’t found it very helpful though.

thanks! but wheres the course description? so for classical mythology, [CLAS | USC Schedule of Classes](<a href=“302 Found”>302 Found), is the description just “Origin, development, and transmission of mythology in Greek and Latin literature, with parallels from other traditions.” ?

The catalogue has the exact same description: [USC Catalogue: The Schools: USC College of Letters, Arts and Sciences: Classics: Courses of Instruction](http://www.usc.edu/dept/publications/cat2009/schools/college/clas/courses.html) This is the 2009-2010 catalogue, I haven’t found a link yet to the 2010-2011 catalogue but it should be up soon. You can pick up a paper copy of the catalogue at the bookstore at orientation - I prefer that because I am very, very old and find it easier to find the information I need. I can’t remember if they give you a copy at orientation - they give you a LOT of paperwork.

I’m afraid the course descriptions don’t get more detailed than that.
