<p>On supplement essays, how do I write course titles and major names? </p>

<li>I want to major in engieering physics /… Media and Science (without ‘the’)</li>

<p>Capitalize the names of specific courses (“I am especially interested in the course Media and Society.”) </p>
<p>Lowercase the names of courses if you are referring to a general area of study, rather than a specific course. (“I plan to take courses in microbiology and plant biology.”) </p>
<p>Capitalize names of languages and specific geographic areas in the names of majors, but do not capitalize other words (“I hope to triple major in French, Asian studies, and sociology.”)</p>
