Course Rigor

This may not be the right category to put this question in, but as a freshmen this year, with school approaching its end within two weeks, I was wondering how rigorous my course schedule is at the moment and whether or not my schedule for next year is challenging or average.

This Year:

(Sorry, my computer randomly confirmed my discussion. Anyway…)

Freshmen Year:

9th Grade Lit and Composition Honors
CCGPS Accelerated Analytical Geometry Honors
Biology Honors
Government and Civics (1st Semester)
AP Comparative Government (2nd Semester)
Spanish 2 Honors
Intro to Graphics and Design

Next Year:

10th Grade Lit and Composition Honors
CCGPS Accelerated Pre-Calculus Honors
Chemistry Honors
AP World History
Spanish 3 (recommended for Spanish 3 Honors, but wanted to balance courseload)
Intro to Engineering Concepts (or Graphic Design and Production)
(I am considering self-studying AP U.S. Government and Politics or AP Statistics that year)

Self-studying doesn’t improve courseload, just saying.

Impossible to say whether your courseload is rigorous or not, but objectively it looks pretty rigorous with all honors and AP’s.
The only way to tell is:
See what your peers are taking and check to see if your courseload is on par with theirs. When I say peers, preferably the “smarter” and more overachieving peers as those are the people colleges will be comparing you to. If your courseload is the same rigor as theirs, then you should be fine.

Obviously the prerequisite is that you can handle all this stuff, which I’ve seen you’ve done by dropping to regular Spanish 3, which is a good move.
