<p>Hello - I have a dilemma with course selection. I am taking AP Bio, AP english, and AP Spanish next year. I can either self study Precalculus this summer and go into Calc AB/BC, or I can simply take APUSH. My problem is that most of the extracurrics I have achieved national recognition in have been history related, and APUSH is the absolute worst workload at my school, with over 4-5 hours of work a night, with very few people achieving A’s, and with most of the course being analysis-based.</p>
<p>What would be a better option in terms of college admissions?</p>
<p>Would it be better to A) achieve straight’ A’s without APUSH and not having a strategic selling point on my application or B) get a B in APUSH with a tough workload and have that history selling point on my applicaiton? </p>
