I’m a high school freshman, i am in a highly affluent district ranked fourth in our state among public schools. I have taken all the highest classes possible since things were offered in 6th grade, and i have gotten straight A’s. This is my first Trimester in the high school and i might end up with two B’s, in math and science, which i thought were my best subjects. These both are honors classes, and i’m wondering if i should switch in regular courses. This would cause me to get off these “paths” and not take the classes as an upperclassmen i was set on. Such as AP Calculus BC, i would have to take AB instead. Thoughts? How would these decisions affect me when i go to apply at colleges.
