course transfer from cc - assist.org HELP

I was looking through my DPR, and I realized that the physics course I took at a community college while in highschool did NOT transfer over. It does now show up as an equivalent to Physics 6A. The other courses I took did transfer over and it shows up on my DPR (for example, intro to soc transferred to UCLA as soc 1). However, on assist.org it is labeled as an equivalent course. I WANT to retake Physics 6a at UCLA ( because first, the professor is good, and I got a B at community college with a stubborn professor), and since it doesn’t show up on my DPR as an equivalent, can I enroll in Physics 6A? I’m asking this because I’m afraid that it will show up later on my transcript as an unauthorized retake. I’m enrolling in classes tomorrow, but I can’t decide if I should enroll in Physics 6a or not. Thanks!

Petition with the syllabus of the physics class you took and if it’s similar enough you should get the credit.

i don’t want to petition because i want to retake the class… im just worried about the unauthorized retake, so would i have a problem retaking the class if it never officially showed on my dpr that it is equivalent to phys 6a?
