Coursera over the summer

Hi im an incoming freshman and I am interested in going the business route 4 years from now, but im not completely sure whether I want to do that or engineering, so I thought over the summer I could just take an online class in gamification just to find out so it could help me choose more classes and ec’s through high school. What I wanted to know was is it hard, particularly for an incoming freshman? I do reasonably well in school, taking the most advanced classes and getting all A’s and maybe one B. Also, do you think you could put it on an app, just wondering because it could be an added bonus. Thanks!

My daughter is taking a Coursera statistics class this summer, and is finding it is not too difficult. She does intend to put the completion of the course on her college applications this fall, although there is no credit involved. Can’t hurt to put it on, although she does not expect it to make much difference overall in the quality of her application.

im also doing coursera Finance.

I’m doing introduction to sustainability. Are you guys taking it for fun or for some other reason?

Im just taking it to get a feel for the subject area

fun and interest in subject

Same! It’s good to explore topics you’re interested in :)
