cover up?

Can you “cover up” your bad gpa (3.3 - 3.5 UW) by getting 2400sar/36act, 800 on 5 SAT II tests and taking 14 ap tests and getting all fives with amazing extra curriculars?

bump.

anyone? :(

Well duh. Was that a serious question?

And why would you need to cover up a 3.5?

If you have to ask this question, you’re probably not going to achieve all of that.

^ I agree.

easier said than done

If that’s your GPA, don’t worry about getting a 2400/36 ACT and 5’s on 14 APs.

I have a 3.6 UW GPA and I’m looking at a 2300- area SAT score ( I have taken many practice tests, and got a 225 on my PSAT). It’s not impossible to think that somebody has made some bad decisions related to work ethic in the past, and now wishes to know if their current work will “make up” for that. As far as APs go, I think performance on those is tied a little more closely to work ethic, and since you can’t take 14 in a year (or,in many schools, even two years) I would tend to think that 14 AP 5’s is less strongly correlated with a 3.5 GPA than maybe a 36/2400 would be.
