My D has to attend a two day event at this school. I just drop her off from 9-5 but need a place to chill for that time. Looking for suggestions for cowork space or library near by with wifi etc. Also other things to do in immediate area as I read museum mile is nearby. Planning to take metro north to 125th Harlem station-should I Uber or taxi to the school on 92nd? All suggestions are appreciated.
There are taxis lined up when you descend the stairs onto 125th Street. I often take a cab to 102nd and have never once not found one there when I needed it. It’s a straight shot down Park Avenue, so I’m not sure you’d need to call an Uber.

There is a branch of the NY Public library on 96th between Park Ave and Lexington. The Cooper Hewitt Museum is on 91st right off 5th and has a lovely garden area as well as nice cafe space.
^^ also The Jewish Museum is across the street from Nightingale, the Guggenheim is a few blocks south on 88th and 5th, the Neue Gallery on 86th and 5th and The Met is on 84th and 5th. Nightingale is across the street from Central Park, so you can take a stroll around the reservoir- enter the park at 90th for that. Or the beautiful conservatory gardens are in the park at 105th. You can also take a walk down Madison for some great window shopping.
