Cox Email Has Been Down For Two Days

<p>Is this the result of a security breach?
I don’t know.
It certainly could be.
But I know this really, really, sucks.
All of my primary email communication is done through my Cox account.</p>

<p>Now I don’t feel quite so ridiculous using AOL email. I have several gmail accounts, but because I started with AOL (how many years ago? 20?) I still use it as my main email address. They have been very reliable over the years.</p>

<p>I have been using Cox Internet (and email) for 18 years.
This is the first major breakdown.
But, of course, one is one too many.</p>

<p>Latest update says they’re making progress and some users will start receiving mail by tomorrow.
They insist, btw, that the cause was not a security breach.
We shall see.</p>
