<p>That depends on your own school. Most schools weight only ap and/or Honor’s classes, or not at all. Excluding the UC system, I cannot think of another college that weighs GPA. In most schools, college prep classes are the general level courses, although the definition can be different. Go to your school’s website or ask a counselor at you school for the best answer.</p>
<p>GPA is calculated by your highschool. You’d need to talk to someone in the office there to find out how everything is weighted. </p>
<p>Typically, CP courses are not weighted, and are just on the normal 4.0 scale. Honors and AP courses are usually weighted.</p>
