CPE vs EE which one is right for me?

Im currently in Computer enginering and minor in Computer Science because I like small electronics and working with hardware application such ipod, cellphone, laptop, robotics. but Im also interested in Communication system(wireless, bluetooth,…) I also feel that Electrical engineering gives me more opportunities than CPE in the job market so I think I would change to EE but I don’t like to take power and materials courses and It will take longer time to finish than my original plan.

Which one do u think is right for me?
Also

 1. Which one do u think is easier to get a job?( I mean first job after college)
 2. Which one makes more money?
 3. What type of jobs will I get with a CPE degree? a EE degree?

Well, you sound more interested in Computer Science Engineering, so I would recommend you stay with that one; but to answer your other questions–

Degrees in Electrical engineering are more commonplace than ones in CSE, so I would say that EE is probably easier (or at least more well known and popular).

EE make more money (slightly more)–but don’t base your future career off of that.

CSE will net you jobs dealing with–obviously–computers; you can work for large companies (such as Dell, McIntosh, and Microsoft), and design computers, programs, software, etc. EE will net you jobs dealing with the design and production of microchips, or you can work for the federal government and design/build microprocessors, transformers, generators, etc. Or, with EE you can concentrate its subset–Control Engineering–which applies Control Theory to make systems safer and easier to deal with.

The point is, both are respectable and well paying professions–though money should not be your deciding factor–and you should choose whatever will make you happier in life.
