<p>This is a question for CS majors at Yale - </p>
<p>Can I take 223 without 201 if I’ve taken ENAS 130? I have decent programming experience and a basic idea of CS theory but I’d rather not be forced to learn Scheme + take 201 when all I want to do is be a proficient C programmer.</p>
<p>I’ve heard 201 is important but do I honestly need it if I’m not majoring in CS and just want to do 223 and get a decent grade?</p>
