<p>My professor released the final grades today and I got a CR while my friends got letter grades. I didn’t even know know about the CR system until I looked it up today. Is it possible to get it changed to a letter grade? I really need this to be letter graded because I need a minimum GPA of 3.6 for scholarships.</p>
<p>You’ll have to ask someone at your school (perhaps an adviser or someone in the registrar’s office). At my school, you usually specify the grading option when you register for the class (letter grade, P/NP, etc), and you have until a certain deadline to change the grading option. My school didn’t let you change the grading option past the deadline, but your school might. My friend’s school would let students change the grading option to a letter grade even after grades come out, but not all schools will. The only way to know is to ask.</p>
