<p>Basically this is the only section I need improvement on, and I can imagine a lot of CCers would like to have strategies and methods for success clarified on this section of the SAT. If anyone would like to share proven methods for success on CR, it is greatly appreciated = D!</p>

<p>I just read direct hits, lol. But for some reason my CR hasn’t changed that much (640 to 700 to 660). It was by far the hardest section for me. Many 800ers have been reading their whole lives. And English wasn’t my first language anyway.</p>
<p>710 -> 740.</p>
<p>Not that much of an increase, but I felt more confident with practice. Even if that didn’t make the 2-question difference, it helped.</p>

<p>Do practice problems. Read the explanations. All of them. Talk to yourself (literally, I’m serious) about why your answer was wrong and theirs was right.</p>
<p>If you have trouble understanding the PASSAGES, you need to read, read, and read some more. Practice passages will help you. So will newspaper articles and your assigned textbook reading. Read Direct Hits for vocabulary.</p>
