Cramming?

Ok so my test is coming up in SAT II for Math I, Math II and US History. My thing is, I got some books to study, is cramming bad? I know EVERYWHERE is says NOT to cram, but if its a week before and I study like 3 or 4 hours a night, is that really so terrible? I DO know the material, its more so to refresh and bring the information to the front of my mind.
So would cramming (or refreshing) be bad?
Would studying 3-4 hours a week before be ok?

Ok I should clarify, I have a book to study/refresh for US History. And Math I/Math II on spark notes or something, or online.

You shouldn’t take Math I if you’re planning on taking Math II. It’s a lot harder to get an 800 on the Math I than the Math II, just so you know.

But cramming is widely reccomended here at CC! Just use the Sparknotes and/or Barrons and you’ll be fine.

Is it to late the change then? I dont know if I know any other subject well enough to review over it and do well… Any ideas?

lol thats good to know. Thank you!

On the top of the SAT Subject Test Preparation list of threads, there’s a sticky about the Frequently Asked Questions. That will answer your question.

But I think you’re welcome to change or remove subjects… I’m not exactly sure if CB will refund you though.

If you do happen to find another subject that you think you know well enough, you can change subjects on the actual test day without any penalty. Just fill out the code for the test you want to do on the bubble sheet.

Alright. Thank you.

I dont know what to switch it with. What would be best to switch with to study for in 1 week online? (I have no books for anything other than US History XP)
