<p>Heh, they offer scholarships to kids in New Haven. I wonder if Yale offers one for students from Cambridge :)</p>

<p>Remember, all of these scholarships are still given as need-based financial aid. The Harvard College Office of Financial Aid uses a demographic supplement to know where to direct donor funds that have stipulations placed on them (like having the last name Downer thing).</p>

Students with the surname Thayer (A.W. Thayer)
Students with the surname Downer (Downer)
Sons of employees of Godfrey L. Cabot, Inc. (Cabot)</p>
