I’m extremely interested in nutrition, fitness, and tackling problems like childhood obesity. At the same time I need to be in a creative sort of field, ie design. Something similar to architecture, graphic design, product design, video game design, film, etc. I wouldn’t be happy as a nutritionist.

One idea is using video games to get kids active, which sounds great and would probably work.

The only problem is that the work environment is terrible; 50-60 work weeks in an office in front of a computer. The chance of working on exercise games is probably pretty slim as well, at least for big companies. It would be pretty difficult to keep up the healthy lifestyle in that sort of environment.

I’m at a loss in what to do. Fitness is something I’m passionate about, and I love designing things, but I can’t find any intersection of the two that still lets me have a good quality of life.

Help or thoughts? Thanks.
