<p>Does anyone have a son or daughter that has attended a summer creative writing program. My daughter got in at Sewanee, University of Virginia and she is waiting to hear from Kenyon and Iowa. Any input on your kid’s experience will be appreciated. Also, if anyone can tell me which is considered the best program.

<p>D2 has been to both Sewanee and Kenyon. She enjoyed both programs tremendously. All 4 programs have great reputations. </p>

<p>My daughter attended Duke last summer. She is a senior this year. Believe it or not, it was her first time away from home. She’s a homebody to the core. Much to my delight, she absolutely LOVED IT! Being surrounded by teens who shared her interests was amazing. We were too late on the others you mentioned. I know they are highly regarded programs.
