Hi, i dunno if it’s the correct forum but i’m quite in desperate help. I’m living in Singapore, currently JC year-2 student (12th grade), graduating junior college (high school) in coming november. So far my highest SAT score has been 2090, took another one a week ago hopefully it’s above 2100. My school has no GPA system, we take British GCE A level examination so i’m quite confused how the university admin-com will view my high school grades and GPA. And the junior colleges in Singapore tend to give a deliberately-lower grades to students in school exams, so that we can attain higher score in A level examination (true story). So i must say i’m at a huge disadvantage over GPA or high school record.

We can only join one EC in sch, was in school tennis team, vice captain. Other than that, i have been class chairperson for past 4 years (since 9th grade), orientation group leader (those hyper-crazy facilitators in orientation camp), leader for project works and some community project.

I’m wondering whether these credentials are sufficient to get me into colleges like Boston college, Wake Forest, New York, North Carolina at Chapel Hill and so on, in undergraduate business school. I know my credentials are rather ‘poor’ so i’m asking for advices here on what can i do for the next 5-6 months to upgrade my resume for college admission? Oh btw i’m taking SAT II, Math lvl 1, Chinese or Korean with listening and Literature(hopefully) soon as well as TOEFL. Being the art student in high school, i can’t take any of the science SAT Subject test, and my school syllabus isn’t in correspond with any of the arts SAT subject test so i’m left with no choice. I take H2 economics, history and geography btw.

I really really need your advice. My school has no counselor for US university and i’m doing this all alone. Not exactly in favour of seeking help from the private college counselor (those private tuition centre kind for college admission) soon because they are really expensive and disclose tiny little bit of information only. Thank you very much to the awesome people out there!!
