<p>She still needs to take calc if that is all it says. I think that is just used as math placement, but I am not sure. I am sure that you get don’t get credit for that (it’s on my studentcenter credit report and gives me 0 credits).</p>
<p>It just means that because your daughter got a 720 on the math portion of the SAT achievement test 1, she is exempted from taking the MATH M199 course–which is the “remedial” math class for those who have not previously done well so well in Algebra and Geometry courses (and therefore need to “brush up” prior to attempting the “basic” calculus courses).</p>
