I have taken lots of Information Technology exams, including CompTia A+, Net+, Security+, Server+, and multiple Microsoft exams and passed with high marks.

I can get these exams changed into credits at davenport unversity, excelsior college and others but I dont think Umich converts exams to credits directly. Once I get them exchanged into credits can I transfer the credits to Umich? if so how?

You can try transferring these credits to Umich but I have a feeling that none of them will. IT exams are something worth looking at but at Umich CS there aren’t any specified courses that teach those exam specifics.

One thing I might try doing is looking at Umich’s transfer credit database and seeing if the specific classes you get credit for at davenport (or another college) can transfer to michigan. You’re probably going to have to stay at minimum one year at that college before transfering to michigan for it to work though.

I can dual enroll at another college for a year, get my IT certs transferred into credits at that college. Then switch them to umich as long as the courses are in the database right?
