<p>Does anyone know if stanford will give you credit for an unpaid internship? I know schools like Notre Dame do it, so there must be others. I’m hoping Stanford does, although I’m not hopeful. Notre Dame will even give stipends of approximately $2k for unpaid internships. Its suppose to cover travel, living and/or clothing expenses. Why doesn’t Stanford do this? With all the endowment money I’m shocked.</p>
<p>I haven’t heard of that but you can absolutely get credit for research and Stanford is so lax you can pretty much finagle anything, I doubt you’ll have problems achieving credits.
That being said, my internships paid minimum 35 dollars an hour and gave me a crazy amount of confidence to apply to my dream jobs (which I got).
That’s the CS experience here but almost all internships you’ll get are so baller it’s silly to worry about credits.
