<p>If a child leaves a private high school after 9th grade and goes to a public high school in 10th grade isn’t Religion still a part of his official transcript? Shouldn’t the credit received for Religion be on his official transcript? Religion is not an elective.</p>
<p>You need to ask the public school what their policy is about this. It may transfer in as an elective credit, or it might not transfer in at all. In any case, you should be prepared to provide official copies of that 9th grade transcript when it comes time for college applications, so don’t lose the address of the private school just yet!</p>
